As i click and scan through the MAC cosmetic website and begin to tally up whats in my shopping cart, I began to wonder what in my right mind am I doing spending this much money on my makeup. Lets face it, we drool over the name brand products, envision ourselves wearing the new line of lipstick for your girls night out and your convinced your set. Only problem is, your spending has now turned your account into the negative numbers. So the question remains, are there fabulous products to invest in without breaking the bank? The answer is YES!!

I decided to give myself the challenge and test some products out. There were 10 that I found to be purchase worthy and I still use on a regular basis.

PhotoReady Skinlights, $12.99, available at Revlon. I love to use this illuminator before foundation by applying it to the tops of the cheekbones, down the center of the nose, above the Cupid’s bow, and then any leftover product mixed into the foundation. For evening, I may do an additional layer of it after foundation to the high planes of the face, which’ll give a luminous glow under warm holiday-party lights. I like Pink Light for fair skin tones and Bronze Light for tan and darker skin tones.

Bronze Booster Glow-Boosting BB Bronzer, $10.43, available at CVS- Physicians [Formula] is, hands-down, the authority on drugstore bronzers,.I love this one because it has all the benefits of a BB plus the SPF, so it's helping the skin while [it's] exposed to the elements. I tend to be a matte-bronzer loyalist, but the sheen in this bronzer is perfection.

Define-A-Brow Eyebrow Pencil In Dark Blonde, $6.95, available at Maybelline.- I have quite a few blonde clients, so I'm always on the lookout for the perfect eyebrow pencil that doesn’t look orange and isn’t too dull or gray,This pencil in Dark Blonde is definitely my go-to!

Airbrush Legs, $9.99, available at Target.- Most body makeup destroys clothes because the formulas tend to be a bit oily, which means it never really dries — and then your clothes get stained — but this stuff seriously stays put, Use a little to give a bit of color to the body, or you can use a lot to really cover problem areas, like bruises or varicose veins.

Soft Matte Lip Cream, $14.35, available at CVS- I'm obsessed with this shade [Copenhagen]; if you find it, buy a few, 'cause it's usually sold out! It complements every skin tone, and it's extra long-lasting. You can wear it with just a few coats of mascara, and it will instantly create a runway makeup look.

Voluminous Original Mascara, $5.89, available at CVS- This is a staple in my own makeup bag, I love this formula because it's super-black and it really separates and builds your lashes, making them look really full.

Revlon ColorBurst Lacquer Balm In Ingenue, $8.99, available at CVS- This is one of my go-to lip stains because it’s the perfect nude shade. It looks so natural on the lips and stays on like a stain, The color payoff is great, and the formula is super-easy to apply.

Colorlicious Lipstick, $6.39, available at CVS- This formula has vibrant pigments and is long-lasting, but still very moisturizing, The palette is extensive, and there are some really great colors!

Mineral Glow Pearls, $13.95, available at Target- You can give your skin instant holiday sheen with this luminizing powder. Just brush it onto your arms, legs, décolletage, above your cheekbones, and on the center of your nose. It will make your skin look ethereal and glowing.

The Infallible Blackbuster Liner, $6.99, available at Target.- This liner has a felted tip for an easy application and is super-black It stays on, but it’s also easy to take off with makeup remover!

And there you have it. My top 10 favorites from the drugstore. I can still look and feel fabulous without breaking the bank. Next time you stop by your local drugstore, try 1 of these products out and let me know what you think. Id love to hear your feedback!!!
